Life as the Import

This past week I was a featured athlete in the newspaper. It was a very flattering experience to say the least. To be recognized as the catalyst for my team is a huge overstatement in my opinion, but I'll take it. Apparently I'm creating "a stir on the local basketball scene" and as a result they interviewed me and snapped a few pics. All this to say I NEVER envisioned this happening!

I will admit the photographer was quite a riot but he needs a little help on his posing. Unbeknownst to him I worked as a photographers assistant for three summers and well I can't help but share these embarrassing shots to give you a laugh.

I can't find the article online otherwise I would post it...

Sorry that it's backwards. My computer camera is LAME.

The picture they choose for the article.

The "bounce the ball" look

What a poser!!

My name is Alisha, I play for Centrals and I am 8 years old!

Told you the pictures were bad AND these are the good bad ones! If you can believe it there are worse!! Regardless I can't believe people know my name in Adelaide! Granted it is a VERY small world sort of city, it is awesome to see that my club is being recognized for our accomplishments and hard work! God is so good! I am glad to see His fruit being produced!!!
